The Laboratory
FMC Ikole-Ekiti Laboratory complex is located at the right-wing of the hospital, it houses three standard laboratories; Medical Microbiology Lab, Chemical Pathology Lab, Serology and Haematology/BGS Lab. All the laboratories are fitted with state-of-the-art testing and diagnostic equipment for accurate investigations, timely reporting of findings and also practice quality laboratory management systems.
Our goal is to use global best practices in providing timely, accurate and cost effective diagnostic services to both our in-patients and out-patients.

Aladejare O. Peter is a skilled medical laboratory scientist with over 18 years of hands-on experience in medical laboratory and research settings.
Proven track record in managing medical laboratory operations, conducting complex diagnostic tests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Known for optimizing good-quality laboratory management systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy of diagnostics, also contributing to superior patient care outcomes.
He has a Bachelor Medical Laboratory SCIENCE (BMLS) degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
MLS Aladejare, Work briefly in a private medical laboratory setting in Lagos. In 2009 he was fully employed by the Ekiti State Hospital management Board as Medical Laboratory Scientist, posted to the State Specialist Hospital in ikole, where he was responsible for day-to-day diagnosis.
In 2014 he was being promoted to be the head of the department, where he managed up to 25 medical Laboratory staff.
Manage day-to-day operation of high-volume Medical Laboratory service.
Implement a new Laboratory protocol on the quality management system that improves efficiency by 30%, reduces turnaround time for test results, and also assists in facilitating the enrollment of the laboratory for CDC accreditation through implementing a quality management system.
