The department caters for the healthcare needs of infants, children and adolescents patients within Ekiti State and Nigeria at large. The peculiar nature of children’s healthcare needs require apt understanding and proper care. It is in view that the department has a team of dedicated Consultant Paediatrician, Physicians and a host of support staff, including nurses and paediatric technicians, to provide the highest quality of care to children.

We provide both out-patient clinic and in-patient care services at the hospital. We also have a Paediatric Emergency unit where we handle emergency cases.

With over 10 years of experience in paediatrics, Dr. Airemionkhale has developed expertise in childcare, neonatal medicine, emergency paediatrics, and research.

  • Senior Registrar in Paediatrics at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Airemionkhale has demonstrated leadership skills, including

  • Leading the managing team for paediatric outpatient clinics.
  • Heading a special care baby unit team.
  • Supervising medical officers and coordinating effective healthcare delivery.
  • Coordinating unit affairs as a Senior Registrar

  • Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP Paed, 2022).
  • Membership of the West African College of Physicians (MWACP Paed, 2018).
