Biography of Aladesawe Oluwabunmi Adewonuola

Aladesawe Oluwabunmi Adewonuola (born 31st December 1993) is a dedicated and results-driven pharmacist with a strong background in pharmaceutical care, hospital pharmacy, and healthcare management. Her career reflects a steady progression from community and hospital practice to leadership in the Nigerian health sector.



Oluwabunmi began her early education at Wilson International School, GRA Kaduna (1998–2004), before proceeding to 2nd ECWA Secondary School, Kakuri Kaduna (2004–2010).

She later pursued her passion for healthcare by earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2011–2018).


She completed her internship at Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti (2018–2019) and thereafter served her National Youth Service at Molly Specialist Hospital, Ibadan (2019–2020), where she distinguished herself as both a Corps Pharmacist and Head of the Pharmacy Department.

In 2021, she joined Vanguard Pharmacy Limited, Ibadan, rising to the role of Assistant Branch Manager where she honed her leadership, organizational, and patient-care skills.

In 2022, Oluwabunmi was appointed as a Pharmacist I Officer with the Ekiti State Hospital Management Board.

Following the conversion of State Specialist Hospital, Ikole-Ekiti, into a Federal Medical Center in 2024, she was absorbed into federal service as a Pharmacist I Officer. Her competence and dedication to service culminated in her appointment on 1st July 2025 as the Head of Pharmacy, Federal Medical Center Ikole-Ekiti.


Throughout her career, Oluwabunmi has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and commitment to advancing healthcare delivery in Nigeria. She continues to inspire through her dedication to patient-centered care and her vision for strengthening pharmaceutical services at institutional and national levels.

Our Duties and Services

  • Drug use advice

    We provide patients with advice on how to use medications effectively and tell them about the potential side effects of every medication.

  • Dispensary

    We dispense both prescription and over the counter medication.

  • ART Services

    We offer Antiretroviral Therapy to a significant portion of the population.

  • Drug Information Services

    We offer drug information services to patients and other health professionals.

  • Distribution of Consumables

    We also distribute consumables to different service units.
