The Top Management Committee of Federal Medical Centre, Ikole-Ekiti, had lunch with the outgoing Head of Nursing Services, Federal Medical Centre, Ikole-Ekiti, Opaaje Olubunmi Julius, on 24th July 2025, at the Medical Director’s office.
While delivering his opening remarks, the Medical Director, FMC, Ikole-Ekiti, Prof. J.D. Ogunlusi, extolled the outgoing HNS for his exemplary leadership qualities, commitment to work, humility and availability. He added that attaining the age of retirement after serving for such a long period is a feat worthy of celebration. Prof. J.D. Ogunlusi wished the outgoing HNS a happy retirement and assured him of the Management’s willingness to tap into his wealth of experience.
The TMC members and the Chief Nursing Officers present at the event also attested to the outgoing HNS’s sterling qualities, adding that he is one who responds to the call of duty even at the shortest notice and is always willing to help.
