The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ikole-Ekiti, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hillside University of Science and Technology (HUST), Okemesi-Ekiti, to serve as a designated clinical training centre for the university’s nursing students.
The partnership which was signed at the Medical Director’s office had in attendance members of the top management from both institutions.
The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and clinical practice, thus providing students with hands on experience in a hospital environment.
The ceremony highlights the hospital’s growing capabilities as a tertiary healthcare institution poised to not only provide qualitative medicare but also to serve as a training centre for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
